Water often has a silvery, mirror-like appearance, so I decided to go for a beautiful metallic silver texture on the background of this painting. The waterlilies and pads are in lovely shades of lilac, purple, and greens, while the numerous koi are in the traditional colors of white, orange, yellow and black. This is a versatile painting, fit for a contemporary, ultra modern or more traditional room setting. The paintings' edges are finished with silver also. It is ready to hang!
